During your initial consultation, your dentist will determine if clear aligner therapy is right for you. First, we’ll examine your oral health to check for gaps and crowding, and ensure your gums are healthy enough for treatment. You’ll also go over your smile goals with your doctor and decide on a treatment plan that fits your needs and lifestyle.
Your dentist will then create a model of your bite with digital imaging technology. Once those are complete, your dentist will personally treatment plan your case before sending it off to our trusted Invisalign lab where they will custom craft your first sets of aligners.
Once we receive your Invisalign trays, you’ll return to the office, where your dentist will check to ensure they fit just right, and make any needed adjustments. Your dentist will provide you detailed instructions about how to wear your new aligners. Most patients will wear each set for 10 days, and between 20-21 hours per day. Every 2 months or so, you’ll return to our office to pick up your next several sets of aligners and to ensure your smile is making the proper progress.
